Ray has had a long and outstanding Service to Cricket in Illawarra both for Umpiring and Club Administration as well Junior Administration for a long period of time that has spanned over 24 years.
Ray Trindall’s Association with Corrimal Cricket Club and Illawarra Cricket Junior & Senior Associations
Junior Development Officer at Corrimal Cricket Club since 1995 and still in that current role after 24 years.
Has coached a range of junior age groups overs during his time with the Corrimal Cricket Club.
Ray has served on several Junior Sub-Committees.
Played 5 years Grade Cricket with Corrimal Cricket Club.
Played Third Grade for Corrimal and was Third Grade Captain for 3 years.
Vice President of the Junior Association for 12 years.
Junior Chairperson from the Senior Association for 2 years.
Was Vice President of the Senior Cricket Illawarra Association for 2 years.
Delegate for the Senior and Juniors in attending meetings for Corrimal Cricket Club over 24 years.
Ray’s Umpiring History
Obtained Local Umpires Accreditation passed by Wal Smith 3rd August 2003.
Obtained NSW Umpires Accreditation in 2010.
Joined the Illawarra Cricket Umpires Association in 2002/2003 Season. Member of Illawarra Cricket Umpires Association for 18years.
Ray’s Milestone in games that he has umpired – 300 games in Senior Grade Matches.
Attained Level 2 Accreditation in 14th April 2017.
Umpired a range of different Age Groups in Junior Finals Series over the past 18 years.
Umpired many Junior Representative games played in Illawarra over the last 18 years.
Umpire many different age groups in the DCA Competitions over 17 years.
Umpired a range of different age groups in the President Cup matches for 3 years.
Umpired school games for many years.
Ray was made Life Member of the Illawarra Cricket Umpires Association in 2019.
Ray is working on the IC Umpires Association New Constitution to be ready for the 2021 AGM.
